Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of receiptplaybook.com, its guides and its free tools. In short: the pages are general information written from IRS sources, not tax advice; the tools help you draft and check, and you stay responsible for your own records and returns; and SparkReceipt's own terms govern any subscription you start there.

Who are we, and when do these terms apply?
Receipt Playbook is run by Meridian SEO, 157 Columbus Ave Floor 4, New York, NY 10023. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Is this tax advice?
No. The guides and tools are general information written from IRS sources for United States federal taxes, and each page lists the sources it used and the date they were read. Tax rules change, your state and other countries have their own rules, and your situation may differ from the examples. For advice about your own taxes, talk to a tax professional.
How may I use the free tools?
Freely, for your own personal or business records. The tools run in your browser and send nothing to us. What they produce, such as a missing receipt statement or a date your records can go, is a draft for you to check, complete and sign yourself. We do not promise that the IRS or anyone else will accept a document or allow a deduction.
What about SparkReceipt?
Receipt Playbook is independent and is not SparkReceipt. We earn a commission if you subscribe through our links, as our Affiliate Disclosure explains. Any account or subscription you start is between you and SparkReceipt, under its own terms, prices and privacy policy. Prices and features we quote are copied from SparkReceipt's website on the date shown and may have changed since; its website has the current ones.
Who owns the content?
The words, tools and design of this site belong to Meridian SEO. You may print or save pages and tool results for your own use, and quote short passages with a link back. SparkReceipt's name, logo and product images belong to SparkReceipt and appear here under its partner program.
Are there any warranties?
The site and its tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work to keep every page accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is complete, error free or always available.
What are the limits of your responsibility?
To the extent the law allows, Meridian SEO is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site, its tools or the sites it links to, including decisions about your taxes or your records.
Do you link to other websites?
Yes, to the IRS and to SparkReceipt, and sometimes to others. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Will these terms change?
We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go to garnett@meridianseo.ai.
